The DK124 is an offline switching power supply chip with a maximum output power of 24W. Unlike solutions that combine a PWM controller and external discrete power MOSFETs, the DK124 integrates a PWM controller, a 700V power transistor, and a primary peak current detection circuit. It also employs a patented self-powered technology that eliminates the need for an auxiliary power supply winding, thus greatly simplifying the external application circuitry, reducing the number of components, circuit size, and weight. This makes it particularly suitable for cost-sensitive flyback switching power supplies.
