LMDS18B20 is a popular one‑wire digital temperature sensor from Maxim. It only needs one data line to complete communication with microcontroller, greatly saving IO resource. Multiple DS18B20 sensors can be mounted on the same bus, each chip has unique 64‑bit ROM address for individual access.

Temperature resolution can be configured from 9‑bit to 12‑bit; 12‑bit mode gives 0.0625 °C step value. It supports two power supply modes: external 3.0V‑5.5V power supply or parasitic power supply powered by data bus without extra power wire.

Package is TO‑92 through‑hole, easy for breadboard experiment. Operating temperature range: ‑55 °C ~ +125 °C. Built‑in user‑configurable upper and lower temperature alarm trigger registers.
